Welcome

This is the second Faculty Handbook prepared since the founding of the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1961. It reflects advances in document management and access that have occurred since the first, printed version was distributed 19 years ago. The current version, therefore, comprises links to original policy and procedure documents at University, UConn Health Center, School of Dental Medicine, and School of Medicine web sites. In some instances, policies of the University or the Health Center may govern, in others policies are set by the individual School.

In compiling the links, we have tried to err on the side of inclusiveness. Thus, the links in the Table of Contents yield documents prepared over the years by various groups with different mandates, writing in different styles; we have neither edited nor interpreted their work.
